Participation Information - Accomodation and Catering

Accomodation:

Participants and their tutors have the possibility to stay in a modest housing area on the grounds of the FEZ-Berlin. There is also a large number of hotels available in Berlin.

Accomodation at the FEZ premises:

We reserved the „Forsthaus“ (forester's house), the „Bungalowdorf“ (bungalow village) and the Fuchsbau (youth hostel fox earth) with 94 beds for the participants and their tutors. These accommodations are within walking distance from the FEZ.

	Bungalow village (Bungalowdorf): 53 beds in bungalows (7 beds or 8 beds), service and sanitary building (similar to campgrounds) A common kitchen is available for self-catering. bed linen included
	youth hostel fox earth (Fuchsbau): 21 beds (1x6 beds, 1x7 beds, 1x8 beds) bed linen included

The standard price per person and night is 16 EUR.

As organizers of the championship we had to sign a contract for the reservation of these buildings and are consequently responsible for assignment and payment:

Beds are assigned in the order of incoming reservations. When all 94 beds are booked, you will have to find a hotel. We therefore suggest that you book early.
In order to assure optimal use of capacity we will assign the beds. We will try to assign the rooms by groups according to the number of persons on the booking and we will try to take your request into consideration. This depends, however, on the size of the groups and the dates of arrival and departure.

Bed linen is included and you need not bring your own. Sleeping bags are not permitted. Smoking is prohibited in the Forsthaus, the bungalows and he Fuchsbau. Open fires and the use of grills is strictly prohibited.

On Thursday the accommodations are available from 5 p.m.
You are required to clear the rooms on the day of departure before 10.30 a.m.

Booking:

The reservation of accomodations is closed. If you still search for a place to sleep and you need some help please write to info.de@szenisches-fechten.de.

The latest date for reservations is July 31, 2009. The fee for lodging (16,00 EUR per person and night) must be transferred to our account within 2 weeks after registrating:

Hotels:

There is a large number of hotels available in and around Berlin. They are, however, out of walking distance from the FEZ.

Since Berlin is attracting more and more tourists, hotels can be booked up. We therefore advise you to book early. Please contact the hotel directly or use the online facilities.

Catering:

In the restaurant of the FEZ you have the possibility to eat.

The following meals are offered from the 10th to the 13th September:

Breakfast (buffet, Coffee/Milk incl.)	6,00 EUR
Lunch (meal of the day) vegetarian or normal	6,00 EUR
Dinner (buffet)	6,00 EUR

On Saturday evening after the competition there will be a party with a large buffet. The buffet costs 12,00 EUR per person.

Obligatory reservations are made by online form. We still accept meal reservations.

The fee for the meals must be transferred to our account within 2 weeks after registrating:
